November 2021 Financial Report
“We are human in expression but divine in creation and limitless in potentiality” – Eric Butterworth
As human expressions, we may unconsciously or even consciously affirm our sense of lack, our sense of not-enough-ness. We might have a deep-seated belief we are constrained by our health, our finances, or some other sense of thinking.
As Director of Operations, I have been working with the Board of Trustees to maintain a continued resilience of prosperity consciousness in
September Board Update
As we pray for the healing of our country and world, do you find it remarkable that you belong to a community whose spiritual beliefs originated in healing and whose foundation is built on prayer? It is not lost on me that as one of our opening songs so eloquently says, “I am in the right place, at the right time”.
For those of us who believe, and practice Unity Principles we must rise to this
mid-June Board Update
“Hey it’s good to be back home again” John Denver’s words were playing in my head as we returned to weekly in person services this month. Live music is back, the children are back… we are coming home!
Thank you to all who came out on June 6. I was on a long anticipated trip to my home on the Mississippi Gulf Coast but I could feel the love a couple of states away.
Six weeks ago,
Wait, Wait, Stand-By!
Just as there was much coordination upon closing the church for regular Sunday services and shifting to a virtual paradigm, we have worked to open the Sunday services on a limited basis, and will need a little
mid-May Board Update
What a wonderful day for Discovering Your Why. Thank you to all who logged in on Saturday, May 1. We had a wonderful day together on Zoom. If I was not inspired enough by this community, I think my love for you grew even deeper. Rev. Kelly Isola led us through a very thoughtful process, we worked in small groups and really connected on why Unity, who we are, and why we exist.
Outer-Giving & Inner-Giving
This suggests two distinct kinds of giving; 1) Giving that is outer-centered which depletes the giver; and 2) giving that is inner-centered which endows the gift with that which transcends its intrinsic value………
When the giving is outer-centered, it is a personal thing, and the ego is very much involved. There is a need to be seen and appreciated, and if there is none, the giver is likely to feel hurt…. But when the giving is inner-centered, it
April Board of Trustees Message
Thank you for coming to the annual meeting on March 21. It was great to see your smiling eyes (under your masks, I am sure the rest of your face was smiling too).
Even though our fiscal year is on a calendar year, the annual meeting, held the third Sunday of March, feels like we are beginning anew. Maybe it is this beautiful spring weather or the hope we are feeling as more and more

A Letter to Unity of Melbourne from Unity Spiritual Center of Lansing, MI
In September 2019, Unity Spiritual Center of Lansing, MI, suffered a catastrophic fire that destroyed much of their ministry.
Unity of Melbourne tithed to that ministry so they could continue to support their spiritual community.
We just received an update on the resurrection of their ministry and invite you to read through their story, and how using metaphysics guided them along their journey.
