Supporting Unity of Melbourne
Supporting Unity of Melbourne is not limited to just finances. Using Rev Stretton Smith’s principles he devised for the 4-T Prosperity Program; consisting of tithing of your time, talent, treasure, and testimony, we can take those concepts and apply them to the support for Unity of Melbourne.
- TIME. Tithing or sharing your unique gifts of time, could mean volunteering or offering sacred service to our ministry. There are a number of single activities or events

“It is done.”
On Monday, Oct 23rd, I met with Dr. Daniel Eley at 2401 N Harbor city Blvd just after 12:00pm and handing him 4 sandwich-sized bags of keys. Keys to the exterior doors, keys to the interior doors, keys to the mailbox, and even keys to the 8 paper towel dispensers throughout the building.

October 18th Relocation Update – “It Is Done” (Almost)
“We made it!” We’ve moved in and held our first worship service last Sunday (Oct 15th).
In Genesis, we learn that God created the heavens and earth in 6 days and rested on the 7th.
For us, we were able to move (not quite heaven and earth, but some of our backs and legs seemed to think so) in 5 days and worked diligently to prepare for that first service on the 7th day from the last
October 11th Relocation Update
Last month, I gave the Sunday lesson entitled, “How To Make God Laugh”, and how we all seem to have an “on-going discussion” (or dispute) with the Divine over “our will”.
Without burying the lead and for those who didn’t hear the talk or forgot what I offered, the response to “how to make God laugh”, is to “tell God your plans!”.
Seems while I wrote and gave the talk, during the past 2 weeks of the

Unity of Melbourne invites you to participate and engage with our offerings each fall.
On Sunday, Oct 29th, immediately following the worship service (with time for light snacks), we’ll offer “New Rules for End Of Life” workshop.
“New Rules for End Of Life” is about the important conversation about the end of life in our current physical body. We’ll explore medical, social, and spiritual issues related to the dying process to ensure ma conscious participation in our
October 4th Relocation Update
We have keys and move is ON!
Since obtaining the keys to our new space at 2190 Sarno Road, the carpets have been cleaned, some areas of the facility have been painted (see pictures below), we’ve had the HVAC systems serviced (they REALLY NEEDED IT), internet is being installed and a whole lot of movement in getting this new (to us) space ready to “open the doors” to our spiritual community.
We’ve had to wait for the
September 27th Relocation Update
We are now in “high gear” with the relocation to our new space at 2190 Sarno Road.
The exterior building signs have been installed (see image below) and the previous tenant has moved out. I’ll be obtaining the building keys this Thursday afternoon, with the carpet being cleaned on Friday and allowed to dry over the weekend. Then the “work” begins.
Next Monday will see the foyer and portions of the Sanctuary being painted, IT technicians will
September 20th Relocation Update
Thank you to Valerie Holloway, President of your Board of Trustees for hosting and facilitating the Town Hall last Sunday. She provided a lot of good information and there were a number of great questions asked and answered. The slides from the Town Hall are available here. Unfortunately, a problem arose in the recording of the Town Hall, so it is not available as previously mentioned.
It certainly seems like Hurricane season here in Central Florida
