During the past week, I have fielded a number of calls and emails regarding the sale of our building and wondering if Unity of Melbourne is closing?.
NOTHIG COULD BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH!
We remain a vibrant and engaging spiritual community that is not limited to a single building or postal address.
Though we work with spiritual and universal laws in Mind, we remain bound by legal laws in the case of real property.
The scheduled May 30th closing of our building and property at 2401 N Harbor City Blvd did not occur as planned. We are now in discussion with our attorney and TeamLBR Broker for our next steps.
There had been much anticipation in completing the sale of the building and property and for some, it might feel like a let-down.
Please consider that we at Unity teach that Divine Order is the ruler of best and highest, and if we in our human-ness force the timelines or events in how we believe they should occur, we are not in alignment with the creative force and energy that created the Universe. Yes, we can experience frustration and confusion. These are human emotions, for when we release any and all thoughts of expectations we come from a place of peace and resilience, and not from a place of ego (edging God out).
We will continue to hold in-person worship services at 2401 N. Harbor Blvd and live stream on Facebook and YouTube each Sunday morning at 10:30am.
We also will post a reprise video of Sunday’s lesson and of the meditation each week. You can find these videos on our YouTube channel (unityofmelbournefl) or links to these videos in our weekly eNews (click here to sign up for the eNews.
We appreciate everyone’s patience during this period.
